Why Come To Kimball

By Carol L. Dunne-Benson - September 20, 2005

After a search of small towns, remote and quiet places, we began to check off features of Kimball which were on our list. Hospital, tree lined streets, fresh pure air and endless prairie and fields. The amazing sunsets, the blackest nights with the brightest stars and the quiet pierced with the sound of trains and whistles which reassure that people and transportation all exist, somewhere else.

The soft winds blow the prairie grasses with mesmerizing rhythms offering respite peace from the rush and crush of big city life. The quiet wind offering moments to reflect, to sort out what is important. Family, friends and memories. Sunsets painted with prairie brushes of orange and gold, of red and violet. Sunrises each more spectacular than the one before. Each promising that earthy agricultural smell of crops being planted, watered and harvested.

Why come to Kimball...come, see for yourself.

See where possibility becomes reality on the unspoiled prairie of Nebraska.
