9-7-00--Joni Siple Granrud, Spokane, WA, USA, bun2@sisna.com, Comments: Hello wonderful people of Kimball. Everyone has gone through a lot of changes since we left in 1992. Steph Eatmon is married to Bob Garcia and they have 3 beautiful girls. He is a contractor. They are very happy. Jason Eatmon is a web developer and also tech support person at a Junior High School in Redding, CA. He turned down an engineer job in San Francisco to be near family. His wife Chrisitne is a school teacher who is currently operating a day care in her home to be near Allison and John, my other two beautiful grandkids. Randy Eatmon is a better artist than ever and works in Redding, CA.
My husband, Mark Granrud and I are living in Washington while he completes his physician assistant program. They say Spokane is supposed to have a hard winter. It probably does not compare to Kimball. The blizzards were the worst. I miss Kimball. There are a lot of awesome people there. I miss MariLou and Joyce and the other nurses at Kimball County Hospital. Kimball is so lucky to have nurses like you have. Steph misses Kimball too. I always thought that the prairie had a beauty of it's own. Be thankful for the smallness of your town. I-80 is right there if you want to travel. This neighborhood is scary but I am a little more accustomed to it. In Kimball I never had to sleep with a gun in my waterbed door, like I did when Mark was gone for a month. I remember jogging at night in Kimball also. Don't take your town for granted. Hey Pat Perry and Gloria Cook, are you still gardening? Sandy Magninnie, I have not gone to Jazzercize here. I do Tae-Bo at home. Hi Charlotta! Hi Brian and Jennifer.
Take care everyone! Joni Siple Granrud Kimball resident 1973-1992 bun2@sisna.com

I came across your website because my project is a revitalization of main street in Kimball, Minnesota. I enjoyed comparing Kimball, NE to my small town in Minnesota. The library page is especially helpful because I will be finishing my project by designing a library for them. My research is currently in the phase of wondering what exactly they need in the facility to meet and exceed their needs. Thanks.

1-1-2000--FORESTHILL, US, MACMAN@FOOTHILL.NET, Comments: I enjoyed visiting your web site. As a technologist for the past 25 years, I have enjoyed working in rural laboratory medicine for unique challenges it provides. However, why is the technologist looking into the microscope without a slide on the stage, and why isn't your phlebotomist wearing gloves? (Sorry, Techs are trained to be observant - I recently posed for my little hospital pretending to do a blood draw.)
1-1-2000--Jan Goins Brewer, Lexington, Ky, USA, Fayebrewer@aol.com, Comments: Happy New Year Kimball!! I wish everyone in Kimball a healthy and prosperous New Year and may all of your days be filled with sunshine and laughter.
